Dear David,

1)no ip route-cash - used to Disables fast switching and back to processswitching to enable load balancing on a per-packet basis

2)no ip mroute-cash - used to disables multicast cashing

no ip route-cache

&

No ip mroute-cache

I think that Mounir got it pretty well. I would offer a small re-interpretation of his answer. Both commands disable using route-cache (where routing decisions can be stored and re-used for forwarding of other packets which makes the forwarding process much more efficient). ip route-cache is for unicast IP packets and ip mroute-cache is for multicast IP packets.
