Route selection by Prefix length or AD

suppose i am getting two routes from one from ospf and one from EIGRP. and ip getting maximum prefix match with ospf then which route it will select... OSPF or EIGRP.

Hello Irfan,

the most specific route is used.

if both protocols propose the same prefix and prefix len the lower AD is installed in the routing table.

then there is no meaning of AD if the maximum match prefix route is coming from higher AD...

Hello Irfan,

most specific route first

AD is looked at to break a tie in prefix length
