Router 3640 and XMODEM

Hello All,

In an attempt to reload an IOS on a 3640,to a needed version of IOS through an XMODEM. The following error message was reported:

1.Transfer cancelled by remote system

2.Image size exceed free memory space

Please how can i free up more space in the memory?

You cannot free up space in memory,, so you need to buy more memory, or load an older images that takes less memory.
