Router 3660 not sensing 16 port A/S Module .

Hi , i am facing a typical problem that cisco 3660 is not able to activate the 16 port A/S Module .

Following is the Message i get when the router boots !!

16 A/S is in slot 2 and is a new module .

MEMINIT: No iomem table entry for pa type 0x391 in slot2

3660 Chassis type: ENTERPRISE

1 FastEthernet/IEEE 802.3 interface(s)

DRAM configuration is 64 bits wide with parity disabled.

125K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.

8192K bytes of processor board System flash (Read/Write)

00:00:04: %PA-2-UNDEFPA: Undefined Port Adaptor type 913 in bay 2

00:00:04: %PA-3-DEACTIVATED: port adapter in bay [2] powered off.

IOS Version :

Cisco Internetwork Operating System Software

IOS (tm) 3600 Software (C3660-D-M), Version 12.1(21), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

What may bethe problem ? Pls help ?

Hi Murthy

AFAIK you need to upgrade the current ios code so that your router can recognize the card.

You need atleast Cisco IOS Release 12.2(15)ZJ or Release 12.3(2)T or a later release to run this module on 3660 router.
