Router 7507 is not showing E1 Module

Greetings

I have the Router 7507 with two Port Adapters PA-MC-8E1/T1.Now the problem is If i try the "show running-config" it does not show me any E1 Controllers.

On the E1 Adapters the Enabled LED is green and at the same time the Alarm LED is red.

Can someone help in this regard. Quick response will be highly appreciable.

Regards

Mansoor Hafeez

Re: Router 7507 is not showing E1 Module

Hi Mansoor,

You need to use the 'card type {t1 | e1} slot/port' command in order to tell the router whether you want to use the ports as E1 or T1. Once you do that, the E1 controllers will appear in the config.

Hope that helps,

Paresh.

Hello Mansoor,

check if this field notice applies to you:

Field Notice: MultiChannel T1/E1 Port Adapters On VIP4 Processors May Not Be Recognized
