router error

I have a 2600 router, whenever I config the router and save the running config to startup config and if the router should reboot all my config is lost, how can I fix this prob??

Sounds like you may well have the wrong config reg value. The one you want is 0x2102. See this attached link for details -

If you have a problem, and if Jon has supplied an answer that guides you to a solution to your problem, then it would be appropriate if you would use the check box function in this thread to announce that this problem is resolved and to award Jon 5 points for providing a solution that resolved your problem.

I have done what I can about points. It would be nice if you would do what you can with the check mark and with points.
