Hi Mac,

Once deleted its gone. You can check if your flash space is freed with that much space.

Good you have not reloaded the router yet.

So tftp the new IOS and make sure of your boot path and config reg value.

Hi,

Thanks for the advice,

It's a 1700 and this is the output from the show flash.

System flash directory:

File Length Name/status

1 1188 tart

[1252 bytes used, 8387356 available, 8388608 total]

8192K bytes of processor board System flash (Read/Write)

So i guess thats 8Mb right, obviously I try and get the most recent config i can is there anything else i should consider?

Thanks

Hi Mac,

Check whether any IOS is present in flash using sh flash command. If there is no file then it would be better download the IOS and load it using tftp procedure.

Before reloading the router make sure that the config register value should be 0x2102.

Thanks,

satish
