I got this message like 500 times non-stop and I have no idea what does it mean, i have a cisco 2921mx and a couple
of 2900's switches hooked up in this application, however this message got me confused... any help would be apresiated.

SYS-2-INTSCHED: 'suspend' at level 3 -Process= "Exec", ip l= 3, pid= 3 -Traceback= 0x8092C040 0x80623304 0x814CDE30 0x8190DC60 0x80EE58EC 0x80EE3654 0x8190DC18 0x80EE36C0 0x80EC1F40 0x80D23AB8 0x80D257E0 0x80D25A7C 0x8 122F6E0 0x8026E5E0 0x802647C4 0x8096E230

I am not sure of the details of the problem but can say that it points to a software problem. The trace backs in the messages are always an indicator of software problems and supply details that tell Cisco developers about the problem. If the router is covered under maintenance then I would suggest opening a case with TAC.

HI Williy,

  %SYS-2-INTSCHED:   '[chars]' at level [dec]

An internal software error has occurred.

%SYS-2-INTSCHED: 'may_suspend' at level 3 -Process= "IP NAT Ager", ipl= 3, pid= 118 -Traceback= ........................

While reporting slowness on the network.

Workaround: Not known at this time.

Symptoms: If a reload occurs on a Cisco router that has interrupts disabled, the crashinfo file may take a long time to write because error messages like the following are generated each time a write is attempted:

SYS-2_INTSCHED

Conditions: This symptom is observed on a Cisco router when interrupts are disabled and a software reload occurs.

Workaround: There is no workaround.

Maybe you should try a software update.

or contact cisco TAC with the exact error log.

Hope to help

Hi Willy,

This error means that the plattform and version information was not found. Can you copy paste a show version and a show stacks as well as show align output?

Hi Willy,

It is a SW bug:

CSCsq22918    "SYS-2-INTSCHED: 'suspend' at level 3" error seen in logs,

duplicate of CSCso19662

Symptoms:

Tracebacks are seen when ip NAT translations get cleared. Possible mesages seen include:

%SYS-2-INTSCHED: 'suspend' at level 3 -Process= "PPP IP Route"

Process could vary.

Conditions:

Cisco device with NAT configure. Not platform dependant

Workaround:

There is no workaround.

Fixed starting with 12.4(21a) and 12.4(20)T01.

Kind Regards,
Ivan

I did not mentioned that when I lost internet transmission, I did shutdownt the outside interface do recive an update from my isp (since i get a dynamic ip on this router) and thats when the router when crazy, and like you guys mentioned I believed it might be a software issue,

so far you guys have helped me and not to worry much for a minute I though that it might be an attack, I've been having suspicious knocks at my perimeter router non-stop.
