Michael,

Does the router from where you are trying to ping know how to reach the destination or the interface that you trying to ping.

Regards,

Arul

I believe it does I have a route from router B e0 to router A e0

I can ping fm ws on e0 on router B to the e0 on the router A and fm the server on E0 to router A on E0 but can't get fm ws to server

ws -->switch-->E0 RtrB S0 --> S0 RtrA E0 -->switch--> server

ping fm ws to rtrA E0

ping fm rtrA to server

ping fm server to rtrA E0

can't ping fm ws to server

can't ping fm rtrB to server

hi,

form what i can see there may be an accesslist in the RtrA E0 interface that blocks the access from the ws.

please post the config of the RtrA so we can verify.

rgds,

ben
