Hi Guys,

I having a problem on configurate a routing to let my 2.0/24 go out to the external BGP cloud via 116.1 router. Here i have attached the current network diagram.

How do I able to see 172.16.2.0/24 in my bgp list?

1, Do I need to let my 172.16.2.0./24 router able to ping 172.16.116.2 router?

2, in 172.16.116.2, do it need to add the network 172.16.2.0/24?

Thanks

the bgp router must have some sort of connection to the IGP domain.

currently the BGP router doesnot even know where 172.16.2.0/24 is.

you can run an igp between your bgp router and advertise the route or you can put in a static route on the bgp.

once the bgo router will get to know route it will show up in the BGP table and it will also start advertising it as well.
