Why does it take path through vlan100 is it bcos a logical interface is defined instaed of physical.

The choice of which route is based on interface costs within OSPF. It does not have anything to do with whether a virtual inteface or physical interface is referenced.

What you have posted is an OSPF inter-area route with a metric of 11. This indicates that there are no OSPF inter-area routes to this destination with metric lower than 11 (and that there are no intra-area routes to the destination.)
