Routing problem

HI everyone! I need your help. Sorry for my bad English :)

We have 2 Cisco routers (2800 series).

They are connected to ISP1 and ISP2, and vrrp between them. But we have the situation when traffic goes out thru ISP1 and comes in thru ISP2. We add a static routes, but its working while we have connection between BGP1 and BGP2(vrrp). If we lost this connection we have situation, that BGP1 anounce our network to ISP1 and BGP2 anounce to ISP2, and traffic goes out thru ISP1 and come in thru ISP2. Please help to resolve this problem.

Why dont you prepend your advertisements out R2?

Your outbound traffic is deterministic because of VRRP. So, you can make your inbound traffic just as predictable by prepending your advertisments to ISP2.

I recommend prepending your AS_PATH out of the backup ISP but also check with your ISPs to see if they accept BGP communities - they may be able to help assist with the ingress traffic occurring on your backup link.
