Hi

I believe both the IPs are on same router.(Either on 2 ports or one 1 port)

(1)No.

(2)If u want bridiging then why are u using a router and given 2 different IPs(10.1.1.1 will not ping to 192.1.1.1 without using a router)?

If this helps then pls rate and if any probs. ....simply revert back.

Regards

If you have proxy arp enabled on the router interfaces and your PC OS stacks broadcast arp queries when no default gateway is configured then yes it will work.
