I'm studing Qos implementation and I have some doubt about rule of RSVP in IP network compared to rule of RSVP-TE in MPLS-TE netwotk :
So, What I understood about MPLS-TE is that RSVP-TE is used to set up LSP and check available ressource on all the router of the path.
So, in this case RSVP-TE doesn't make ressource reservation because if you don't set correct traitment on forwarding plane (scheduling traitment,....),
packet won't have QoS
Contrary to RSVP-TE, RSVP get "special module" called RSVP daemon which is used to do the link between contol plane and forwarding plane.
Here what I understood about RSVP!! Is it all right?
Even if, RSVP-TE isn't use for the same thing, it seems to be less perfoming than RSVP!No?
The second thing I would like to say is about its use.
Could we say me if RSVP is used a lot in pratice and if it's a good mean to do ressource repartition.
