RV016 router loses connections

We bought a new network setup about 5 months ago that included a Cisco RV016 router. Beginning this past Sunday night it lost connection with our DSL modem. When I tried to gain access to our schedule from home I was unable to connect to our internal server. I tried to login using Logmein and it indicated that our server had been offline for 5 hours. When I got to work I unplugged the DSL modem but nothing worked internally or going out to the Internet. So I unplugged the router and everything connected normally. This morning, Tues 8/28, I again tried to access the schedule from home and was met with the same server offline but this time it had been offline for 7 hours. I got to work and unplugged the router and everything worked fine. What's going on with the router?
