Serial Port Card In Router

I had an incident where the router went down and when it came back up all of the serial interface lost the configurations on it, but the FastEthernet Ports were still up and configured. If you were troubleshooting the situration what do you think would of been wrong?

Are you sure the configuration had been saved? You could do "show startup" to see what was present at the time the router rebooted.
