Service-policy on Multilink

I have this following senario:

A multilink logical interface with number of physical interfaces bundled.

There is a service policy applied to the multilink int.

Problem:

when adding or subtracting physical interfaces to the bundle, the service policy disappears.

Is this normal behavior or is this a bug? To me, it looks like a bug but I am not sure. Any advice will be appreciated.

HI,

This is interesting.

A interface can run only one Serivce Policy at a time.

I have seen instances when the interfaces that are part of the multilink go down or removed from bundle, then policy-map doesnt work any more. This is the case when sum of Bandwidth configured on policy-map is less than that configured on physical interfaces of Mu bundle. In such cases a message appears as "policy-map xxx suspended".

however, I'm not sure what happens when interfaces are added to bundle.

hope that clarifies.
