Setting a 5ms delay for a redistributed route.

Here is a question:

For example, in eigrp, you want to redistribute isis routes, you want to set the delay of those routes to 5ms; Cisco IOS only allows you to set that value in tens of ms.

Given this information, how will I set the redistributed route's delay to 5 ms?

Re: Setting a 5ms delay for a redistributed route.

Hi,

The value is set in tens of microseconds. So 5 ms would be 500 x 10 usec.

Example:

router eigrp 65000

redistribute isis metric 1 500 1 1 1

where the 5 metric values are: bandwidth delay reliability loading mtu

Hope this helps! Please use the rating system.
