Setting distance based on IP address in OSPF

Hi,

Is it possible to set the administrative distance in OSPF based on the source IP address of a neighbor router/ or access lists which classifies particular routes? This is possible in EIGRP but not sure if its supported in OSPF.The documentation provides information only on setting distance based on the type of route, ie intra area, inter area and external.

Regards

ED.

Re: Setting distance based on IP address in OSPF

Why don't you try using the distance command? then specify the RID of the neighbor router then use a standard access-list to specify the routes to be changed.

router(config)#router ospf 1

router(config-router)distance 130 3.3.3.3 0.0.0.0 access-list 1

where the 3.3.3.3 is the RID of the neighbor router.
