sh dsl atm 0 - train speed/sync

When you look at the output of the sh dsl atm 0 command output you see a line referencing speed.  In the below example, would it mean that the line is synched at 3360 downstream and 832 upstream?

sh dsl int ATM0

Re: sh dsl atm 0 - train speed/sync

Hello Ikadlik,

yes your understanding is correct both downstream and upstream directions use interleaving that protect DSL signal from noises for example caused by PSTN service on the same line.

The noise margin provides you direct info about the line quality.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
