Hi,
Sending traffic from user-VLAN to LoadBalancer Management VLAN is very very slow. Tested uploading a 200MB file from user-vlan to Managment VLAN of LoadBalancer and gets 10K upload speed.
6506 switch has these VLAN, LoadBalancer is connected to this Switch.
User is connected to EdgeSW.
EdgeSw is connected to 6506 using Fiber
Pinging from Loadbalancer to UserPC is 1MS and same from userPC to LoadBalancer.
Any Clue what could be wrong.
Only I have noticed that LoadBalancer port is connected to 6506 with Auto Config on its ports.

Why you blame the network ? Could be an issue with your load balancer.

Hello Amin,

Management vlan /port of devices should be used ONLY for remote control of the device itself.
For example, it would be a trouble to use the management FE port of a GRP or PRP route processor of a powerful 12000.
Someone tried and had troubles like yours.
high traffic volume flows have to be handled on the "user" ports that can use ASICs, dedicated HW and cpus to do that.

put the servers in a more appropriate Vlans.
would you complain to be not able to push 100 Mbps over a console port?
traffic on the management Vlan can be processed at a very high price in terms of resources of main cpu and so the low performance you see.
Hope to help
