did you use ACS or any QOS policy?

regards

dongdong

No!

Here is the config on one end

interface Serial5/6

ip address

no ip redirects

no ip unreachables

no ip proxy-arp

ip tcp header-compression iphc-format

ip tcp compression-connections 256

no ip mroute-cache

load-interval 30

no fair-queue

serial restart-delay 0

no dce-terminal-timing-enable

ip rtp header-compression iphc-format

ip rtp compression-connections 1000

end

hi,

i think telnet traffic has been compressed and decompressed.

btw:make sure there are the same CONNECTION NUMBER behind ip tcp compression-connections in local router`s serial interface.

dongdong
