If we install SFP for STM1/OC3 in the SPA-4XOC12-POS iis it will work as STM1 speed or not?

Hello Ahmed,
it is not only a question of SFP: different clocks, framing structure are used on an OC-12 (actually being superior in the SONET hierarchy) then in an OC-3.
If the linecard is not able to work in dual mode you need an external Sonet ADM to create a virtual cross-connect between an OC-12 and an OC-3 link.
Edit:
I see that they have multi rate support

Multirate mode support (OC-3 and OC-12)
so with an explicit config and the right SFP you can get one port to act as an OC-3 link.
Hope to help

Hello Ahmed,
you need to configure the port for OC-3 operation mode (multi rate = multi speed capabilities).
Once you do so the port becomes an OC-3 interface and should be able to use the SFP for OC-3 operations.
Hope to help
