Standard nat translation time out?

I'm using nat overload.Everything works fine except one or two PC cann't get internet someitmes. When I use clear ip nat trans * then internet are working on that PC however after some times it agian creating problem.i've used translation timeout as 3600 sec.Whether decreasing the timeout would be appropriate or any other problem that I have to check. When I ping from that PC to internal ip of the router there is no packet loss, however ping to external interface ip is request time out .

here's is the nat config of the router...

ip nat translation timeout 3600

ip nat translation tcp-timeout 3600

ip nat translation pptp-timeout 3600

ip nat inside source list natacl2 interface GigabitEthernet0/0 overload

ip access-list extended natacl2

permit ip 10.x.x.0 any

Re: Standard nat translation time out?

I have seen in the past similar problems on 7200 series routers that may be IOS version related. Check the IOS version you are running as there have been bug issues in the past with NAT overload, specifically to an interface.

Also as a possible test, and if you have the available external IP address space, try a nat overload to an ip pool address of one ip rather than the to the interface.

Good luck!
