STM-1 card

we have two STM-1 card (PA-MC-STM-1SMI) on 7606 router.

One STM-1 is configured by ISP1.Now , the other STM-1 card is to be terminated by another ISP2.But ISP2 will be using on 20 channels and remaining 43 channels will be wasted.

Now, can those 43 channels be used by ISP1 for configuring reemote locations?

actually ISP1 has more than 63 locations for termination.

do i have to purchase one more STM-1 card?????

Hi,

It may be possible for your to get an SDH muxing device which will take in 2 STM1 inputs and then groom the used E1s in each of them to a single STM1 that you then terminate on your 7606. However, that is not likely to be very cheap.

If you are not in a position to do so, you will need to purchase a second STM1 card.
