How much length black fibre can be used for termination from STM1 module of 7206 router to STM1 mux(on Single Mode Fibre)

Hi

AFAIK you will terminate the fiber from the MUX to a FMS box from where you take the required kinda signals to the router.

Place the FMS somewhere near to your RACKS, i feel it should be there in place already.

(coz of huge complex network you have in place)

From there you can extend the SM cable to the STM module..

Usually you have both your MUX and FMS box placed inside a building and dont see any constraint coming in..

We do have similar setups running between floors and running/working well & fine ..
