Strange BGP issue

I have an issue where one locally connected network is not being advertised by BGP. All the other networks are working fine. Would the "clear ip bgp soft" command work possibly?

Non-working network:

router1#show ip route 10.xx.x2.0

Routing entry for 10.xx.x2.0/24

Known via "connected", distance 0, metric 0 (connected, via interface)

Routing Descriptor Blocks:

* directly connected, via VlanXX2

Route metric is 0, traffic share count is 1

Working network:

router1#show ip route 10.xx.x3.0

Routing entry for 10.xx.x3.0/25

Known via "connected", distance 0, metric 0 (connected, via interface)

Redistributing via bgp XXXXX

Advertised by bgp XXXXX

Routing Descriptor Blocks:

* directly connected, via VlanXX6

Route metric is 0, traffic share count is 1

There are no route-map filters in place. We are redistributing routes from ospf to bgp. Other routers in the OSPF area are learning about this network without issue. The only issue is getting it to BGP.

Re: Strange BGP issue

Can you post your OSPF and BGP configs?

Daniel

Would you post the BGP configuration? My first guess would be that there is some issue with the network statements under BGP - perhaps the network statement for the route that does not work is not using the correct subnet mask?
