Hi all,
I need to configure a stun between 2 routers.
Both routers can ping each other and both E1s are UP on each side.
The pb is that both tunnels stay always closed ..
Any ideas ??

Are your end stations configured properly? Your config looks fine.
Most commonly overlooked items are:
1. mtu (did you try 4400?)
2. nrzi-encoding
3. clock rate
Hope this helps.

It might be helpful if we knew what kind of device was connected to the STUN serial interfaces.
The config as posted is fairly straightforward and I do not see a problem. The suggestions about nrzi and clock rate may be very good suggestions (especially depending on what is connected on the serial interfaces).
One other thing to check is IP connectivity. Can you do an extended ping specifying the destination as the remote loopback and specifying the source as the local loopback. Is there any possibility that there are access lists filtering traffic anywhere along the path?

thks for ur help guys ..
1- all I know about the equipment connected is that they are from ALCATEL company and used for EDGE or GPRS connection on a cell phone network.
2-I've already done an extended ping specifiing the source and dest loopback and it works FINE. I'm not doing any ACLs on the path also.
3-I'm going to look more in depth NRZ or clock rate parameters.
thks again
