Good Day
How can I convince the customer for the major comparisons between:
1-WS-SUP720-3BXL : Catalyst 6500/Cisco 7600 Supervisor 720 Fabric MSFC3 PFC3BXL.
2-WS-SUP720-3B : Catalyst 6500/Cisco 7600 Supervisor 720 Fabric MSFC3 PFC3B.
Thanx

Hello majdal,
PFC-3BXL used in the WS-SUP720-3BXL is ideally suited for service provider metro ethernet deployments. It offers MPLS Layer 3 and Layer 2 VPNs. it also offers high scalabilty such as one million IPV4 FIB entries , more ACL's etc.. otherwise the features are almost same between the SUP engines...
The URL below gives all the differences between the 2 SUP modules...

Hope this helps.. rate replies if found useful..

The main differences on the 3BXL are as follows:
MPLS: 1024 VRF's with 1,000,000 routes per system. The 3B supports 1024 VRF's with 256,000 routes per system.
Routes: 1,000,000 IPv4 and 500,000 IPv6. The 3B supports 256,000 IPv4 and 128,000 IPv6 routes.
Reflexive ACL's: 256,000. The 3B supports 128,000.
If you predict you will need the extra routing capacity of the 3BXL in the near future, you should grab that now. Otherwise if the other values will be sufficient for you grab the 3B.
