Hi,

Configuration register value for 3560 swicth. It  shows 0Xf  is there anything wrong with this value?

What is the significance of this value like in router config-reg value which we use to recover the password ?

Please share the experience.

Any link on cisco.com is highly appreciable.

Thanks in advance

0xf is the normal config register value for the 3560 switch. When you do a password recovery on the 3560 + others (see attached link), you do not reset the config register, instead you use the mode button on the front of the switch to go into ROMMON -
