Switch with 24 10/100 ports + 2 GB Ethernet ports, what will be the maximum through put in mbps at any point of time?
What is the suggested switch which could handle around 2GB data at any point of time?
is there any way to convert mpps to mbps?

There is no normal way to convert mpps to mbps, since packets can have different sizes.
Rule of thumb is to multiply MPPS by 1000, which would correspond to 125 byte packet.
The switch you are looking for is 2960, the WS-C2960-24TC-L
Hope this helps.
