Re: T1 controller errors

These are typically circuit problem for which you have to complain to telco.

The fact one side doesn't show errors does not mean anything, because circuits are not like a wire where errors must be symmetric.

Re: T1 controller errors

That' been my experience in the past, but I'm being told by the carrier that they are detecting problems on our equipment. I just wondered if there were any simple changes I could try - such as cable length - that might attest to the errors we're seeing before thowing it back at the carrier.

Re: T1 controller errors

Not really. Telcos have an habit of blaming cust. before doing anything else.

Re: T1 controller errors

Paolo is absolutely correct about the Telco. I just got done doing the same thing with a telco. I did all the usual things like replacing the cable checking the config and things like that. They came out and tested and said they did not find anything but guess what all of a sudden the circuit was clear....go figure. Then the best part when they replaced the faulty equipment they took down our ISDN PRI, again blamed our equipment but when they came out to check and "did not do anything again" the phones started working again....go figure.

Telco's got to love them.
