hi,
my problem:
i have a mpls pe router which has a session to an other pe-router.
i want to control the ldp/tdp router-id, so i configured the following:
tag-switching tdp router-id Loopback65052
!
!
interface Loopback65052
description mplsrbgope03: OSPF-ID,BGP-ID for AS65052 (Lo65052)
ip address 172.16.24.20 255.255.255.255
!
but the router has ldp sessions with an other adress (172.16.24.86):
Peer LDP Ident: 172.16.24.62:0; Local LDP Ident 172.16.24.86:0

does anybody has an idea?
i know i use ldp and not tdp on the interface - but i thought that the command "tag-switching tdp router-id Loopback65052" also has an affect to ldp session - right ?

Hi,
Did you enter the command after the LDP session was up ? I don't think the command takes effect immediately.
Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.

hi,
thx
yes, i had already the same idea - i am not sure what happened first.
so at friday night i make a "reload" to the router - then i´ll see
to hritter:

Try configuring the "force" keyword at the end of the command.
Hope this helps,
