We have two switches 8540 connected via optical oc3 link each together. How can i manage the remote one via this optical link? There is no IP connectivity to the remote location, the oc3 link is the only one!

should be able to do a pvc/svc from the route-processor interface to the remote route-processor interface.Havn't got an example at hand.

Note: There is no ARM module in the ATM switches. I`ve tried to do pvc from atm0 interface to the remote one, but i`m not able to ping or telnet it.
In a case there are ARM`s inside, it works fine, but that,s not my case.
