i m trying to copy IOS from router to tftp server.....i have connected router to my ethernet....but as soon as i try to copy it doesnt work...like it ask me all the things which file and destination but after checksum an error comes TFTP timeout....i m really stuck can any one plz help me
can you revert which TFTP server you are using out there ? is it a solarwinds product or 3Com TFTP ??
i would suggest to check the connectivity from the pc to the router before uploading the ios file.
make sure that you are mapping the tftp directory properly and u have the ios file in the home directory of the tftp server from where it can take the ios file .
Also finally have u checked up whether u got enough dram and flash space required for the new ios code to operate properly ?? if not i would suggest to check that out before getting onto the upgrade...
