the meaning of the command "arp frame-relay"

Just saw the 12.4 command reference, there is a command named "arp [arpa|frame-realy|snap]". And it also show us an example, which is encble frame-relay service under Ethernet:

R7(config)#int e0/0

R7(config-if)#arp frame-relay

Don't know what is the used for?

Re: the meaning of the command "arp frame-relay"

Howdy,

That command appears to be deprecated and no one seems to be able to know what it does. There have been numerous discussions on the groupstudy mailing list regarding this and no one (so far) has been able to come up with (and prove) what that command actually does.

Here's a link to one such post:

Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.
