Third Party products for Mesh-Networks

Can Third-Party products be integrated into a Mesh-Network using the Aironet 1500 Access-Points?

Can any PCMCIA-WLAN-Adapter be used on the Client-Side or is it only possible to use Cisco's products?

Is a special software required in the Clients to handle the roaming feature or is roaming completely controlled by the Mesh-Network itself?

Re: Third Party products for Mesh-Networks

Yes, it is possible for a third party wireless card/client to be a part of a mesh network with 1500 acting as the Wireless AccessPoints. But, I think there may be some after effects. Also, there is proper solutions for this, I believe.
