I have an ASA5510 v8.4 with a VPN on it. Users can connect to the Inside network just fine but I am trying to VNC to the VPN client PC IP address that the firewall provides upon connecting. 10.116.16.x
I cant ping the client from my internal LAN on any vlan. The client can reach any vlan in my network. I do a traceroute and the packets bounce between the GW of the firewall and the firewall inside interface.
I have removed the route inside 10.116.16.0 255.255.255.0 10.116.1.1 command in hopes that
the route inside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.116.1.1 tunneled would be all I need to get traffic in and out of the lan environment.
all static routing points to the same internal Cat4506 switch vlan 1 IP address 10.116.1.1 firewall ip is 10.116.1.2
