unable to connect my switch with VSS

I am connecting the access switch with the VSS using PORT Channel and some how when I am enabling the ports 5/1 & 2 which are connected to VSS primary and secondary switch it is getting error disabled please look in to this on priority and let me know.

set trunk 5/1 on dot1q 1-4094

set trunk 5/2 on dot1q 1-4094

set port channel 5/1-4 mode on

the above conf for access switch
