unable to contact switch attached to a stack of switches

situation:

4 switches connected via a stack ( GIGASTACK cable )

1 switch attached via ethernet

VLANS are configured on all switches and default gateway is set correct

TRUNK is configured with the necessary VLAN ID's on all intermediate devices.

problem:

I'm unable to reach the ethernet attached switch while I am able to reach the stack of swithes.

I'm able to reach all switches in the stack from the ethernet attached switch

I'm able to reach the default gatewy which is contacted over the TRUNK.

What is wrong ???

Can we see switch configs along with show vtp status and show vlan ?

Is that mean the 10.33.5.11 behind 10.32.254.1/2 device ? What is the device w/ IP addr 10.32.254.1/2 ? It looks like this device did not know how to return the packet back to SUNCISCO6.

Do you mean you can ping to 10.32.254.1 from SUNCISCO6 too ? Can you ping to 10.32.254.2 from SUNCISCO6 ?

Please provide the config. Did you enable VLAN routing at switch ? Is the traffic can't pass via different VLANs or same VLAN.

Please also show us the test result, e.g. trace or ping test.

why isn't VLAN11 ( 10.32.50.x ) using the added routes to forward the packets ?

How can you determine which interface is used to forward packets ?

According to the ping test result. I belive there is no route for the 10.32.50.24 in 10.33.5.11's GW.

Just like Edison's said, we need the config. of 10.32.254.1.

Moreover, please also provide the suncisco4 config. And what is the GW in 10.33.5.11 ? If it is not 10.32.254.1, please also provide the config. of the GW.

To make some thing clear

There is NO default gateway for the subnet 10.32.50.0/24 network, but this is not necessary beacause this is an isolated, not routed subnet,.

management will be done via the newely created 10.32.254.0/24 network.

I can't give the configuration from the 10.32.254.1 device, but I can say taht this is our layer 3 backbone switch.

Can you provide a drawing of your physical network ?

Can you also provide the config from 10.32.254.1 device ?

Without this information, I believe I can't help you further.

What I mean is the 10.33.55.1's GW have the route to 10.32.50.0/24 or there is a default route there.

If 10.32.50.0/24 is an isolated segment, why you try to ping from this subnet to 10.33.55.1. The failure is correct result.

Please provide a diagram and specify your traffic flow requirement then we can list out what you need to do. Otherwise, it can't provide additional help.
