Unable to ping single router backup (ISP2) interface from outside
We have a single router with 3 interfaces: one for inside, one for ISP1 and one for ISP2
We are doing simple failover in the following way:
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 isp1_gateway
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 isp2_gateway 200
From the internet, we can ping router interface that points to ISP1 however we can not ping router interface that points to ISP2. This I believe is expected, however there is a way to have the router respond to icmp requesst on the interface that faces ISP2, even though that interface is not the "Active" one. I believe this is doable via PBR.
