Hi All,

I have a Cisco 1841 with a WIC-1T (V.35) which comes with a default configuration of clock rate 2000000. I use "no clock rate" and also "no clock rate 2000000", but i am not able to remove the command.

This has cause the serial interface to go into line up, protocol down as it is connected to the DSU. Anyone has encounter the same situation, pls helps me if have any clue. Thanks !

This question has been posted before.

It is not really a problem, it is merely a default setting that is observed on an inactive link. The settting will disappear when you start using the router as DTE. You will also be able to remove it when the link becomes active in DCE-mode (and you do not need a clock).

Regards,

Leo
