unit 0 L2X entry 25571 parity error ASR901

Hi,

We have an ASR901 that is continuously generating the following log entries:

unit 0 L2X analysis
unit 0 L2X entry 25571 parity error
unit 0 IP2_INTR_STATUS parity processing
unit 0 XQPORT_INTR_STATUS parity processing
unit 0 MEM_FAIL_INT_STAT parity processing
unit 0 EP_INTR_STATUS parity processing
unit 0 IP0_INTR_STATUS parity processing
unit 0 IP1_INTR_STATUS parity processing
unit 0 L2X analysis
unit 0 L2X entry 25571 parity error

I can't see anything in the documentation that would explain what's going on, anyone have an idea?

The box is A901-12C-F-D running asr901-universalk9-mz.153-3.S1 code.

Im having the same issue but im running 154.4(s2). Have you found the meaning of this log?

Per Cisco, it is parity errors on L3 memory segment. They recommended either reboot or replacement.

Hi ,

we have cisco ASR A901-4C-F-D two routers which is generating these below errors continuously

R1

unit 0 L2X entry 12505 parity error
unit 0 L2X entry 28708 parity error
unit 0 L2X has multiple parity errors

R2

unit 0 L2X entry 6515 parity error

Both RTRs Running  IOS asr901-universalk9-mz.154-3.S.bin

Please provide  impact & solution.
