Upgrade 12K GRP-B to PRP

Trying to figure out the requirements for upgrading to PRP on a 12008.  What I am trying to figure out is if my current LCs will be supported by PRP.  Haven't found a page that talks about PRP compatible LC.

Thanks,

Greg

Re: Upgrade 12K GRP-B to PRP

Hello,

the card you are using should not have any problems with the current linecards you are using. The only problem could come if you are not able to load an image on the new RP which supports all the linecards (for instance if newer cards are inserted).

The current cards though should not be a problem with PRP.

More information on the PRP and upgrade path can be found at the following URL:
