Hi,
wE want to upgrade the IOS platform on our router.
The IOS version we are running on now is "c2800nm-ipbase-mz.124-3i.bin" (from show version).
We want to upgrade to "c2800nm-ipbasek9-mz.124-25a" so as to enable us implement GET-VPN on our network.
We have downloaded the IOS release we need and saved it to a system.
Please Can some one help me with information on how to proceed with the upgrade.
what kind of connection should I have between the router and the system where the IOS image is saved and what are the ios commands to use.
Must I use TFTP server or will a direct connection between the system and the router (through the fast ethernet interfaces) be ok.
