Has anyone ever used these USB ports on the router, and what are they used for?

Thanks,

John

They can be used for IOS image but also for the secure disrtibution of a configuration to an end user which come to think of it could provide a solution to your other recent post in this forum about configuring on the fly :-)

John,

There are two purposes that I know of for the USB ports on the newer integrated services routers.

1) USB flash storage

2) Identity Tokens AKA eToken

I have used the ports for transfering files using a standard USB flash drive, but not the eToken.
