using a router to authenticate remote users

folks

i'm looking for a guide to configure a router to authenticate user credentials passed in from a NAS

once authenticated i hope to allocate users an ip from a specific pool (one for each user)

You can configure the network access to authenticate users before forwarding each connection to the home gateway. This allows you to detect unauthorized users and possibly to lessen the amount of traffic sent over the tunnels.
