We have 2811 and 2851 routers out on the field. We would like to find out what wic slots or nm slots are used and unused. In the older routers and switches you could use Cisco View. Do 2800's support Cisco View, or what other method can be used to find out about physical interfaces?

"show ip interface brief" will show you what is in use and what isn't.
Also, "show version" & "show service-module" will give you a basic idea of what modules are installed.
I would imagine these routers support cisco view but i do not have access to that info off hand.

If you have ciscoworks you can get a pretty picture.
These routers are new enough to have the SHOW INVENTORY command. This should get you most the information you want.
