VLAN 1

hi,

I need to configure a VLAN 1 on my ADSL router sitting at a client site. This VLAN will give me connections back into the client network. The client has supplied me with this info

IP ? 172.16.111.254

Subnet ? 255.255.252.0

GW ? 172.16.108.1

The server I need to connected is 172.16.113.2. How will I create this VLAN correctly and what would the correct ip route statement be to connect to this server?

Hi,

unless you specify your equipment (IOS, interfaces, etc.) it is hard to tell, what the config should look like.

877W Router, 4xFe, Configured DHCP, Internet, BVI and VLAN2(this connects to internet)
