VLAN trunk problem

hi,

We are facing very weird problem about trunking.

We have 3560 L3 switch on which VLAN100,VLAN200 interfaces are created.

These act as default gateways for the corresponding hosts.

We have two switches connected in cascade to this L3 switch.

gi0/1 goes to 2960 gig0/1 and then gig0/2 of 2960 goes to next 2960 switch gig 0/1.

L3gi0/1--> gi 0/1 (material) gi 0/2 ( material)-->gig (0/1) quality

All these ports are configured as trunk.

They also show status as trunking in status.

Weird thing is host connected to last Quality, switch that is second 2960 switch can not ping to the default gateway that is VLAN100 ip on the L3 switch.

Hosts connected to the switch that is directly connected to L3 switch (material ) can ping to default dgateway.

Attaching configuration here.

Please share the experience.

Thanks in advance.

Hello.

You need to add VLAN 100 to the 'material' switch with the command below:

vlan 100

Your VTP mode is transparent so you VLAN 100 will not be able to pass through 'material' switch unless it is configured.
